The original song by Sir Elton John and Tim Rice are included in the show. Lion King has been successful, both commercially and critically, winning several awards, including one for the best musical at the Tony awards. It won't be wrong to call the show a musical firework. The show is an exciting journey from beginning till the end, punctuated by great performances, awesome music and an energetic cast in colorful costumes. The beautiful sets and the costumes worn by the cast combine to create a visual feast which is enjoyed by babies as well as grownups. Since its inception, the Lion King musical has created several records and broken them many times over. It has recently created another record by becoming the highest grossing show at the Minskoff Theater. The musical has completed 12 years and is now one of the longest running shows at Broadway.
