Cats is a Broadway Musical that was composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, that is based on a book written by T.S. Elliot.  This amazing musical tells the tale of a tribe of cats that are known as the Jellicles and the ultimate night that they make the ultimate choice which is known to be the Jellicle choice within the story line.  This choice decides which of them will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and that they come back to a brand new life.  The very first performance of this amazing musical was in the year of 1981.

As of today Cats still remains the fourth longest running Broadway musical show in the history of Broadway.  As well as being the longest running Broadway musical show from the year of 1987 to the year of 2006, at this time it was than surpassed by the Broadway musical The Phantom of the Opera.
