After a holiday break, she is starting her US tour on 9 January 2018 at the Amyway Center in Orlando, Florida with concerts scheduled in Washington D.C., New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and more. Her final performance is scheduled for 10 February in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additional dates in Latin America will be announced in due time.

Tickets are on sale starting 30 June.

“Thank you all so much for listening to my music in so many places around the world,” the 40-year-old Colombian singer tells E! News in a statement. “I can’t wait to be onstage again singing along with all of you, all of your favourites and mine. It’s going to be fun! The road to El Dorado starts now!”

Shakira’s tour, produced by Live Nation and presented by Rakuten, supports her 11th album ‘El Dorado’, released in May.  This album is currently no.1 on Billboard’s top Latin Albums chart. The album represents a multi-lingual studio collection and contains collaborations with well-known international artists MAGIC!, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Carlos Vives, Cashmere Cat, Prince Royce, and French rapper Black M. The success of El Dorado has by all means been fueled by the singles “Chantaje”, “Me Enamore”, “Déjà Vu” and “Come Moi”.

This Arabian-Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer and record producer has won many awards throughout her career, including five MTV Video Music Awards, two Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, 28 Billboard Latin Music Awards and has been Golden-Globe nominated.

She is the best-selling Latin American singer and best-selling Latin artist of all times. She has frequently stated she is inspired by oriental and Indian music but also her Arabian heritage which was a major motivation for her breakthrough world hit “Ojos Asi”.

While making the music video for the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)’ she met the Spanish football player and future partner, Gerard Pique, with whom she has two sons.

After almost a six-year break from touring and enjoying her personal life, Shakira hopes this will be her best tour ever. Tickets for the US part of the tour are available here.
