Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie was born in Bay City, Michigan, on August 16, 1958. When she was just a little girl she convinced her father to allow her to take dance classes. As she grew up and graduated from high school she then decided to move to New York City in order to pursue a career in dance instead of going off to college. Madonna formed her first rock band In New York City with Dan Gilroy, which they called the Breakfast Club. In the year of 1982 Madonna finally caught a break and signed a singles deal as she released her first song “Everybody,” which was a huge success.
Madonna has delighted as well as shocked many audiences through her career with a combination of her catchy music style, her sexual films, as well as her provocative live performances. To this date this singing sensation has released 37 top Ten hit singles as well as 12 multi-platinum albums over her prosperous as well as long career.
