Justin Bieber has announced plans to postpone his Changes Tour due to the coronavirus crisis.

The Sorry hitmaker was scheduled to kick off his tour in Seattle, Washington on May 14th and wrap it in East Rutherford, New Jersey on September 26th. However, all the dates have now been put off due to the global health crisis.

Bieber and his team made an announcement on his website, that as a result of the pandemic and lockdown measures designed to stop the spread of the virus, he will no longer tour in 2020.

“In light of the current public health crisis, and with the deepest concern for all those being affected, Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour,” the post said.

“While Justin – along with his band, dancers and crew – has been hard at work preparing an amazing show, he has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost.”

In addition to this post, the Canadian pop star added another message to his fans saying:

“The world is a scary place but we will all figure this out together. We held on to these dates as long as we could and I cannot wait to see all of you in person as soon as I can. Be safe.”

He also told fans to hold onto their tickets, as he will announce rescheduled dates soon.

In the meantime, Bieber has launched a series of twice-weekly EPs featuring songs from the new album with some extras. He first shared ‘R&Bieber’, that features the songs “Habitual,” “Take It Out On Me,” “Changes,” “Get Me” featuring Kehlani and “Available,” all from his newest album. Another compilation that followed, aptly titled Work From Home was a five-track compilation that features four tunes also from Changes album, plus the recently released unplugged acoustic version of the “Intentions” single.

The singer also dropped “Nature Visual” for the song Changes on Thursday (April 2nd).
