Everything You Need to Know About Rosalía’s Upcoming LUX Tour 2026

Spanish songstress Rosalía has announced her most ambitious project to date: the LUX TOUR 2026!

The tour will be a huge 42-date arena show in 17 countries across three continents. For Rosalía, this will be the biggest challenge yet, as it is going to be her largest tour and the first tour after the insanely successful MOTOMAMI World Tour from 2022.

LUX TOUR supports Rosalía’s critically acclaimed fourth studio album, LUX, that recently came out.

The Album Behind the Tour

Compared to all previous work, LUX is indeed a very big departure in artistry for Rosalía. A fusion of traditional flamenco with pop and hip-hop is what she became famous for. However, LUX is a complete 180 as the experimental project embraces opera and classical maximalism.

And it’s not just a big step for the songstress – it’s a big step for the entire pop industry, which hasn’t seen something as fresh as this in a while.

The album was recorded with the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Daníel Bjarnason. The haunting baroque opera with soaring strings and scattered electronic effects has been out since November 7.

It’s a behemoth of an album, that much is for sure. It explores themes of femininity, mystique, transformation, and spirituality. Rosalía spoke of how inspired she was by the lives of female saints around the world, which is what drew her to sing in 14 different languages. That’s right – the album features bits and pieces of her singing in German, Catalan, English, Spanish, Arabic, French, etc.

LUX is equally impressive in terms of collaborations too. There’s features and contributions from a long list of artists, including Björk, Yves Tumor, Estrella Morente, Carminho, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza, and the Escolania de Montserrat choir.
