The Indie singer St Vincent, real name Annie Clark, has just released the dates for her 2014 North American tour, with a total of 30 dates being scheduled for the first few months of the year. The first concert of the tour will be held in New York on Wednesday 26th February at Terminal 5, with trips to Boston and Philadelphia to follow on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February. March will kick off with a concert on Saturday 1st at the 9.30 Club in Washington DC, then on Tuesday 4th March St Vincent will be performing at The Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, North Carolina. North Carolina will also hold the next concert too on Wednesday 5th March, with this particular concert being staged at the Orange Peel in Asheville.
March will be a busy month for St Vincent as there will be another 14 concerts played out before the end of the month, with trips to Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and Phoenix all taking place in the first couple of weeks, then there will be trips to California for concerts in San Diego, Los Angeles and Oakland. The final week of the month will see concerts take place in Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver and Kansas, with a trip to Canada sandwiched in between.
The Canadian concert will be staged at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, British Columbia on Tuesday 25th March, a venue that is famous for staging concerts all year round. The intimate Art Deco Ballroom can hold in the region of 1,000 paying guests, and no doubt when St Vincent is in town tickets will have already sold out. The Commodore Ballroom will also be playing host to all types of music events in the coming months with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Moist, Said the Whale, Daniel Wesley and Scottish band Biffy Clyro all taking to the stage, with many more besides. Concert tickets for each and everyone of these concerts can be bought today from Ticket Center, but because numbers are limited you will need to buy your tickets sooner rather than later or you will miss out.
There are ten St Vincent concerts due to take place in April, and all ten will take place during the first 12 days of the month, with the first being scheduled for Tuesday 1st April at the Sokol Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska. Concerts will follow in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Buffalo, with a further three taking place in the state of Ohio. On Tuesday 8th April the first of the Ohio concerts will take place at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, with trips to Columbus and Cleveland scheduled for Wednesday 9th and Thursday 11th April, and the tour finale will take place on Saturday 12th April at Ashbury Hall in Buffalo, New York.
