Maxwell summer tour sees more dates for Blacksummers night
Maxwell has been high on the charts after reappearing in 2009; both legs of his tour in 2009 were practically sold out. Now, he is getting ready to tour again and expanded his tour dates across the United States.
The summer tour starts in Cleveland, Ohio on May 21 at Quicken Loans Arena and at this time ends in Baltimore, Maryland on July 15 at the 1st Mariner Arena, with several stopovers in between.
The tour is a non-stop eight week journey visiting 31 venues with a couple of two night performance which includes Atlanta, Georgia on June 11 & 12 at the Philips Arena, New York, New York on June 25 & 26 at Madison Square Garden.
Along with the new extended tour dates, guest appearances have also been added along with Jill Scott who plans to join in on many venues; Erykah Badu will be around for the Atlanta concert on June 11 and on June 26 in New York City, while giving Jill Scott a break. A few concert dates will have Canadian artist Melanie Fiona on the stage.
Tickets are on sale with a portion of each ticket benefiting a wide array of Haiti relief organizations and Jill Scott’s Blues Babe Foundation. Tickets have been going for around $40 to $100 range for most venues.

May 25 in Chicago, IL at the United Center
June 2 in Seattle, WA at the KeyArena at Seattle Center
June 4 in Oakland, CA at the Oracle Arena
June 5 in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center
June 8 in Dallas, TX at the American Airlines Center
July 1 in Columbia, SC at the Colonial Life Arena
July 3 in Pensacola, FL at the Pensacola Civic Center
