The Blue Smoke World Tour will be visiting America in two distinct parts. There are a handful of Dolly Parton concerts scheduled for January, then on her return to America from Europe, Australia and New Zealand she will performing a further seven during May. The first American concert has been scheduled for Friday 24th January in the state of California, with the concert taking place at the Agua Caliente Casino in the resort city of Rancho Mirage.
Next up is a two night stay in Nevada on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January with the first concert taking place at the Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, and the second taking place at the Reno Events Center in Reno. The Reno Events Center may not be as big as some arenas in America as it hold just 7,000 people, but it is a popular venue as many of the worlds leading artists choose to host concerts at the all seater arena. Florida Georgia Line will be visiting before Christmas along with Colt Ford, and in the New Year Lady Antebellum, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves and Jeff Dunham will also be in town performing. The final concert in January has been scheduled for Arizona and will take place on Tuesday 28th at the Comerica Theater in Phoenix. In a press release Dolly Parton said, “It’s always great to perform at home in the good ol’ USA. We’re kicking off our Blue Smoke World Tour right here at home. I love travelling all over the world; but it’s true, there’s nothing like home.”
From America Dolly Parton will then head off to Europe, Australia and New Zealand and will not be seen in her homeland until Thursday 22nd May when she performs at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa Oklahoma. Dolly Parton will perform a second concert at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday 23rd May, then on Sunday 25th she will be in North Carolina performing at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino in Cherokee. Concerts follow in Kentucky and Tennessee, then at the end of the month two concerts have been scheduled for the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st May.
