The Dave Matthews Band, or as they are often known DMB, are set for another huge tour this summer having just announced a 42 day trek across North America. The tour gets underway on Friday 16th May with a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Spring, Texas, followed by a trip to Dallas the next day where the band will perform at the Gexa Energy Pavilion. A further five concerts will take place in May with trips to Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia and New York being scheduled, with the month closing out with a performance at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in New York.
The June schedule will start with a performance at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine on Friday 6th, which will be followed by a trip to Massachusetts the next day and a performance at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield. Trips to New Jersey, New York and Indiana come next, then on Tuesday 24th June the Dave Matthews Band will head to Ontario, Canada for a one off performance at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, then on their return to America the month of June will play out with further concerts in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
July is the busiest month of the tour as it has 14 concerts inked in on the schedule, the first of which will take place on Wednesday 2nd in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Marcus Amphitheater. A double header of gigs will then take place on the 4th and 5th of July at the FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago, Illinois, then trips to Ohio, Connecticut, Florida and North Carolina will follow those. On Friday 25th July the Dave Matthews Band will be in the state of Virginia performing at the Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach, then on Saturday 26th July they will be in Bristow performing at Jiffy Lube Live.
The band will then take a short break before returning to the stage on Friday 22nd August for the first of three concerts at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California, with the next two taking place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August. On Tuesday 26th August the band will be in Oregon performing at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre in the town of Bend, a concert that will be followed by three nights at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington.
The tour will come to a close during the first week of September with two concerts in California, the first of which will take place at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on Friday 5th with the tour finale taking place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine on Saturday 6th September.
