Celtic Thunder Fall Tour Dates Announced
The contemporary vocal group, Celtic Thunder, has grown a huge fan base since 2008 and it is still growing due to the North America tour. The quintet and the back up musicians will be on the road again this fall for 40 dates and venues in the United States and Canada.
The tour will begin in Rama, Ontario on September 24 at the Casino Rama Entertainment Centre with the last concert being in Clearwater Florida on November 23 at the Ruth Eckerd Hall.
The nine week tour will include stops in New York, NY at the Radio City Music Hall on October 1; Boston, Massachusetts at the Citi Performing Arts Center on October 9; Chicago, Illinois at the Chicago Theatre on October 23; Anaheim California at The Grove on November 6 & 7; and in Atlanta, Georgia at the Fox Theatre on November 20th.
Since the concert begins in the fall, only a few of the venues are offering tickets at this time. The first ones to offer tickets last week include Springfield, Buffalo, New York City, Clearwater, and San Diego with the rest following soon. The majority of the cities and venues are waiting for the official announcement before they begin to offer tickets.
The group was established in 2008 and since that time, has completed three very long tours throughout North America. The first tour began in the fall of 2008 and encompassed 50 venues. After that tour, another one quickly began in the spring of 2009 for 30 days, and ending with 27 concerts during the fall of 2009.
The new tour will highlight tracks from their February release in 2009, “It’s Entertainment”. Other concerts showcased traditional tracks with a couple of pop tunes.
