Carrie Underwood adds more dates

Carrie Underwood has certainly built a name and reputation for herself after winning the 2005 American Idol contest. All of your songs have been reached the tops of charts and won her many industry awards and of course she has been across the nation with her tours.

After winning a second Entertainer of the Year Award Carrie announced 45 more dates to her 2010 Play On tour that began the beginning of March. The new leg begins in autumn starting with the Rose Garden Arena on September 23 in Portland, Oregon with her last performance being at the Pengrowth Saddledome on December 19 in Calgary, AB.

Highlights of the new 45 dates include Nashville Tennessee at the Bridgestone arena on October 13, Charlotte North Carolina at the Time Warner Cable arena on October 30, Newark New Jersey at the Prudential Center on November 15, and in Sioux Falls South Dakota at the Sioux Falls Arena on December 5.

Along with more performances in the United States, four more will be in Canada. Along with the last performance on December 19, other Canadian performance includes Toronto ON at the Air Canada Centre on November 3, Vancouver BC at the General Motors Place on December 16, and Edmonton AB at the Rexall Place on December 18.

Tickets have gone all sale and of course prices range differently according to the venue and the seating with most ranging from $30 to $35 for the inexpensive seats to $50 to $55 for premium seats.

Special guests for the fall tour includes Sons of Sylvia and Billy Currington.

Carrie Underwood’s spring leg began in Reading Pennsylvania on March 11 and will end in Saskatoon SK at the Credit Union Centre on June 20.

Her tour is supporting her 3rd studio album, Play On which was released in November 2009. The album was #1 on Billboard 200 and has seen two #1 singles including Temporary Home and Cowboy Cassanova.
