Black Crowes Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys Tour
Shake Your Money Maker marks twentieth anniversary and Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys Tour to hit 50 markets throughout the United States and Canada this summer.
The Black Crowes were founded by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson. The group will be releasing a new album this summer and will complete a 4-month long tour. A few concerts are spread out through May, June, and July with the official launch of their tour beginning in Milwaukee Wisconsin at the Riverside Theatre on August 13.
At this time, venues and dates are booked all the way to the end of the year with the last gig to be a six-night block in San Francisco at The Fillmore for Dec. 12, 14-15, 17-19.
A few highlights of the Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys Tour include a two night gig on October 19 & 20 in Burlington, Virginia at Higher Ground, on October 22 & 23 in Boston, Massachusetts at the House of Blues, 0n November 13 & 14 in Washington, DC at 9:30 Club, and November 19 & 20 in Atlanta, Georgia at The Tabernacle. A long engagement is booked in New York City at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square starting on October 31 and ending on November 6.
The majority of the gigs will see the Black Crowes opening with a full acoustic set prior to plugging in for a full-length electric set.
Tickets will go on sale for the Goodnight to the Bad Guys Tour beginning May 14. Tickets will range in price from $35 to $55 in most cases.
The Black Crowes have pretty much been going non-stop touring since their Euphoria or Bust tour in 2008 and in 2009 the Stuck Inside Utopia Tour. Frontman Chris Robinson stated in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, “If we kept going, we might be playing with fate too much,” Robinson commented. “It would be nice to have a 30th anniversary. But we should walk away from this while everyone’s in a good mood.”
