Big Time Summer Concert 2012 Tickets

After the popularity of boy bands such as Backstreet Boys and Westlife along with tons of other boy bands that sprouted on that era, the hype had died down a bit and was replaced with rock bands and pop artists. But the presence of boy bands hasn’t been completely eradicated despite their silence; maybe the boy band music industry has just been hibernating, waiting for new young’uns to replace the old.

That said, with the new era of boy bands present to serenade ladies young and old, here comes Big Time Rush also known as BTR an American boy band from the US. They have been formed by Nickelodeon in 2009. The band is composed of four talented young men that make teenage girls turn into screamos.

Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson – are four men to love because of their sweetness, good looks and amazing voices. These boys all have their distinct qualities but despite their differences, they all go so well together, like pieces in a puzzle. Their website best describes them:

Kendall may be considered as the leader of the group, that is they need one. Music and dancing are thriving in his blood but he never imagined that he would be one day at the top of stardom. He’s a carefree guy and thought that he would just enjoy the ride. He’s also the guy who can keep all of the boys together.

James can sing but so far his biggest hits are with the ladies! He dreams big and has the confidence to match. He may be a little clueless at times, but he always looks good doing it. Major plus: great hair!

Carlos gets the laughs! Though he also picks the fights. With his hockey helmet in tow, he is always ready to go — whether he’s cracking jokes or sticking up for his friends. His heart in the right place!

Logan is the brains behind Big Time Rush. Who else is going to handle all that homework? Logan’s the go-to guy for solving problems — and with all the trouble the guys get into, it’s good to have him around.

Big Time Rush released their debut album, BTR in 2010 and it peaked at number 3 on Billboard 200. Not only that, their first ever album was certified gold by the RIAA for having sales of more than 500,000 copies. They are on their summer tour for their newest album, Elevate that was released in November 2011. They also appear in Nickelodeon’s TV show Big Time Rush because everyone just can’t get enough of them.
