Beyonce And Jay-Z Announce 16 Gig Summer Stadium Tour

Beyonce and Jay-Z fans are in for a real treat this summer as the duo have just announced a 16 date stadium tour, a tour that will be known as the ‘On the Run’ summer tour. The first concert of the ‘On The Run’ tour will take place in Miami, Florida, with the concert taking place at the Sun Life Stadium on Wednesday 25th June, with a trip to Ohio three days later and a concert at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

The July schedule will kick-off with a concert at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, home of the New England Patriots, a venue that will be playing host to One Direction, Luke Bryan, Lee Brice, George Strait and Faith Hill during the summer of 2014. Saturday 5th July will see Beyonce and Jay-Z performing at the Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadelphia, then two days later they will be in Baltimore performing at the M & T Bank Stadium. Wednesday 9th July will see the first of two trips to Canada, with this particular concert taking place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, then on Friday 11th July the duo will be in New Jersey performing at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

A further five concerts will be staged in the next 10 days, with trips to Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Dallas and Texas all taking place, with the second trip to Canada taking place on Sunday 27th July. The second Canadian concert will be staged at the Investor Group Field in Winnipeg, a venue that can seat in the region of 40,000 people for sporting and music events, and is sure to sell-out when Beyonce and Jay-Z come to town.

Wednesday 30th July will see a concert being held at the Safeco Field in Seattle, home of the Seattle Mariners Baseball Team, then on Saturday 2nd August the tour moves on to California with a concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The final gig of the tour will also taker place in the state of California, with this concert taking place on Tuesday 5th August at the AT&T Park in San Francisco.
