Adam Lambert Announces New Concert Dates

News In Concerts

Adam Lambert may have been American Idol’s runner up last season but he is getting quite a bit of attention, which is the reason that his Glam Nation tour is extending the tour with a total of forty concert dates for the summer tour.

The tour does not officially launch until June, he will be present at a radio sponsored Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles, California on May 15. The tour will keep him traveling all the way through September 18 in St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field.

At the first announcement of the Glam Nation Tour, only a tad over 12 concert dates were confirmed. With this new agenda, there are all kinds of stopovers and performance that will certainly give fans a chance to see Adam in concert.

A couple of previously announced venues have extended their performances to two nights. In New York, New York at the Nokia Theatre Time Square on June 22 & 23 and in Costa Mesa, California at the OC Fair on July 27 & 28.

A few performances will feature former Idol competitor Allison Iraheta and guitarist Orianthi.

Lambert stated on his website, “I hope the audience will be able to escape for a few hours and fall into a world full of glam, drama and excitement.” “And I would love everyone to come away with a new appreciation for the music on my album.”

Adam’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, released in November of 2009 and has sold over 615,000 copies and opened at #3 on the Billboard 200.
