Seven more dates announced for Shakira’s US tour
Shakira has expanded her North American tour to include seven new concerts across the United States. Her concerts open in Uncasville, Connecticut on September 17 at the Mohegan Sun Arena and will end in Rosemont, Illinois on October 29 at the Allstate Arena.
Ticket went on sale May 14 for the new performance with most dates offering a limited number for under $10 and the remainder of the tickets going all the way to $149.50 according to dates and venues.
Shakira’s Staples Center concert sold out in only 24 hours after tickets became available according to Live Nation, the tour producer. Due to the popularity of the show at the Staples Center, another date was added for the Los Angeles area. This time the venue will be the Honda Center in Anaheim and the date October 25 only 25 miles from Los Angeles.
This tour is Shakira’s first tour in around three years. Her last headlining tour was the 2006-2007 Oral Fixation Tour, which included two extended legs in Mexico along with her gigs in Canada and the United States.

Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center on October 23
Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center on October 25
Rosemont, IL at the Allstate Arena on October 29
