Adam Lambert announced dates for his Glam Nation Tour

Adam Lambert, American Idol, runner up will be the talk of the concert circuit this summer as he launches his national tour. The first venue will be the FM Kirby Center on June 4th in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. At this time, the last date for the summer concert will be on August 13 at the Bethlehem Musikfest @ Sands Riverplace in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Other stop offs will include Stir Concert Cove on June 10 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Nokia Theatre on June 22 in New York, New York. You can find a few tickets for some venues on sale now, with more announcements for sale dates and venues soon.

Lambert gave a sneak peek when he sent out message on his Twitter account stating, “For those who didn’t know, my opening acts are Orianthi and Allison Iraheta.

Orianthi is a musician from Australia that Michael Jackson chose to play lead guitar for the “This is It” concert series. Iraheta was a contestant on the eighth season of America Idol along with Lambert. She came in 4th place and Lambert came in 2nd place with Kris Allen the overall winner.

Adam Lambert’s first studio album, For Your Entertainment was released in November 2009 and debuted on the Billboard 200 at #3. Iraheta’s “Just like You” was released in December of 2009 and made it to #35 on the Billboard 200.

A few other locations have been announced for May including KIIS FM Wango Tango @ Staples Center in Los Angeles California and KISS 108 FM Concert @ Comcast Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. In June fans will find Lambert in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, Sayreville New Jersey, Fishkill New York, Council Bluffs Iowa, Mahnomen Minnesota, Mashantucket Connecticut, and Cost Mesa California, to name a few. Only one date has been announced for August at this time, which is Bethlehem Pennsylvania on August 13.
