American rock band The Goo Goo Dolls will be hitting the road early this year having just announced a series of tour dates for North America during February and March. Cheap and discounted concert tickets are already on sale for each and every one of their 13 concerts, 11 of which will be staged in Canada, but you will need to act quickly if you wish to secure your seats as tickets are selling extremely well in advance of the first show on February 1st in New Jersey.
The first of the 13 dates has been inked in for Saturday 1st February at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with the next gig not due to take place until Valentines Day, Friday 14th February, at the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, Nevada. The first of the Canadian concerts will take place on Monday 17th February at the Olympia Theatre in Montreal, then the band will head to Ontario for a further four concerts.
The first concert in Ontario will take place on Tuesday 18th February at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, with the next scheduled for the Hamilton Place Theatre in Hamilton on Friday 21st February. Oshawa is the next stop off in Ontario on Saturday 22nd February, with this particular concert taking place at the General Motors Centre, then on Tuesday 25th February a performance has been scheduled for the Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay.
The Goo Goo Dolls will then head to Winnipeg for a concert at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre on Wednesday 26th February, then the next day they will be in Saskatoon performing at the Credit Union Centre. March will kick off with two gigs in Alberta, the first of which will be in Edmonton on Saturday 1st March at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, then on Sunday 2nd the band will be in Calgary performing at the Jack Singer Concert Hall.
The tour will conclude with two concerts in British Columbia on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th March, with the Royal Theatre in Victoria staging the first and the Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquiltam playing host to the tour finale.
