If you think that the legacy of Les Miserables ended up 16 years ago, you are wrong because in celebration of the anniversary of this Tony Award-winning musical piece, new cast and new music is bound to make your viewing experience more memorable.
Les Miserables has listed new and young talents to make you cry tears more than you can ever imagine to shed. The setting of the musical is 1815 where the lead protagonist Jean Valjean, who has been accused and condemned for stealing bread to feed his hungry family, is released via a parole. The central theme of the story revolves around the rebellion of different societal intensities, tackling major issues in France in the 19th century where marginalization is of great heights.
Jean then adopts an orphan called Cosette who is funny and at the same time secretive. The revolution depicted at this time is evident in all streets of Paris yet the people who are in the place still remain in hope that courage will find a way for redemption to be pushed through. Even as the climax of this musical is reached, love remains present and the fight for one’s freedom is subjected to question.
The show is set to be at Barnstaple, Shaftesbury Theatre, Sharnbrook Mill Theatre Trust, Fylde Borough, Philadelphia Academy of Music, Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, The Kentucky Center and Ohio Theatre, all located all over London.
If you want to be acquainted with the word of classical France and be aware of the issues revolving then that are still present nowadays, you should buy Les Miserables tickets to appease your mind. You can also look at the setting in line with the real time and analyze your world. This musical will make you realize how life could be hopeful even if you are down at the moment.
If you thought that the long-time performance of the Blood Brothers makes it less popular, you are wrong. This is because this long-time theatre production is still being performed in theatres in London. This 1988 West End classic is still on, which actually started in April 1983. The first performance was at the Lyric Theatre, which eventually closed on October of the same year. Thankfully, the classic was revived in July of 1988 and had ended on 1991, only to be transferred to the Phoenix Theatre in November, 1991.
One of the reasons why the Blood Brothers is still on-going is because it is able to adapt itself to the contemporary time and tries to make the audience think about the argument of nature versus nurture. The classic plot of fraternal twins separated at birth and lives on different backgrounds is the pivot of the story, while many of the cast display the realistic situation of the society they are in.
The performance is a compelling myriad of tragedy, surrealism and realism. It is in its 21st year of production and the theme has not yet gone out of season. Even when the story remains the same, the setting is altered not only on stage, but also in the mindset of the audience.
Many of the actors in the play have been changed to make it more timely, but the quality has only changed for the better. The Blood Brothers has circulated all over London to bring to the audience the real way of society. In 1994, the performance even reached US and was received warmly.
If you buy a Blood Brothers ticket, you will get to hear wonderful speeches and dialogues as well as overtures and musical compositions. Each act of the scene has at least ten songs to set you in the mood. You will even want to watch the whole performance again, although the ending is dramatic.
If you have not seen the Phantom of the Opera yet, it would be a great pleasure to sit through one emotionally packed Andrew Lloyd Weber masterpiece. The story is a classic, all the actors are exceptionally talented, and the setting is wonderfully timed to give you the time of your life.
The Phantom of the Opera won and has been nominated to various major and minor awards when it was created into a musical movie, but now that it is being performed, the awards are piling up more than ever. Back in 1988, the same classic piece won seven Tony awards, immortalizing the name of the characters and the people behind the story through the years.
With a Phantom of the Opera ticket, you will be transported from the various London theatres that present it to the Paris opera house, which is the setting of the story. In this opera house, the “ghost” haunts the place, asking for a payment for “his” opera and for his own box. He even requested that the people perform his own compositions, and if his requests are not carried out, strange and awful things happen to the opera house and the people he dislike.
The Phantom expressed a deep affection for the lead actress, whom he have shown favor for since he first laid eyes on her and heard her sang. Some of the original compositions that they have made famous are the Music of the Night, Phantom of the Opera, That’s All I Ask of You and Think of Me.
Her Majesty’s Theatre is only one of the theatres that showcase the performance of the cast in certain days and time slots. It is the best location to immerse yourself into the setting of the play. If you intend to watch this spectacular hit, you might as well buy Phantom of the Opera tickets early, because slots are rapidly running out!

New York Times Charles Isherwood “‘American Idiot,’ directed by Michael Mayer and performed with galvanizing intensity by a terrific cast, detonates a fierce aesthetic charge in this ho-hum Broadway season.”
USA Today Elysa Gardner “…the feel-good musical of the season.”
Hollywood Reporter Frank Scheck “Telling its story largely through music and movement with only a smattering of dialogue, “Idiot” never manages to make us care about the fate of its thinly drawn characters.”
