Billy Idol Returns to Las Vegas in November 2022
Billy Idol and his back are coming to meet you at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in 2022! Fans will be able to witness the Billy Idol Las Vegas residency and hear the legendary New Wave musician perform all of his greatest hits. The singer will be performing music from across this storied career, from his early days fronting Generation X, to his days topping the charts with classics such as “Rebel Yell, “White Wedding”, and “Dancing with Myself”. It promises to be one of the most acclaimed rock shows on the Strip!
For forty-five years, Billy Idol has been one of the faces and voices of rock’n’roll, with an artistic resume that matches the brilliant light of the image. Fans have been following his career from his early days as the frontman for Generation X. Between 1977 and 1981 Billy emerged with three albums that truly reshaped the world of punk rock. In 1982, Billy embarked on a solo career that integrated clubland throb, wide-screen depth and drama, and rockabilly desperation. He truly became the synonym for rock’n’roll decadence combining bold and simple lines of punk.
Evidently, the singer shows no signs of stopping. Billy Idol is still making gliding, thumping, cinematic songs about sin, redemption and the love of rock’n’roll. All of this can be found on “The Roadside”, his first original release in seven years that came out in 2021.
The first show will take place on November 11th at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas and the last taking place on November 19th.
