Nicki Minaj Announces Joint Tour with Future

Nicki Minaj is on the fire lately but, on a second thought, isn’t she always?!

On the heels of releasing her majestic cover art for the upcoming album Queen, she announced she will be hitting the road with Future this fall. The duo will visit 50 cities in North America and Europe as a part of the extensive joint tour NICKIHNDRXX that is scheduled to end in spring 2019. The North American leg of the tour will hit 29 cities starting from Baltimore on 21 September. The run will conclude in Las Vegas on 24 November after hitting Washington, Miami, Los Angeles, Detroit, Toronto, Chicago, Buffalo, Boston and many others.  Their extensive expedition will resume in Europe in February, kicking Munich, Oslo, Amsterdam, Zurich and other major cities until it wraps up on 28 March in Geneva.

This is the first time the two are on tour together and Minaj’s first tour since her Pinkprint Tour ended in March 2016. The rapper is scheduled to headline the Made in America festival in Philadelphia on Labor Day weekend.

Global hip hop icon shared her Queen album cover on social media, described as being legendary, shot by Mert and Marcus. Nicki also gloated her upcoming album will be her best work so far and Future described it as his favourite album so far. The album will come out on 10 August and so far Nicki has released “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz” that topped the charts. Following the tour announcement, she released a new song in collaboration with Lil Wayne “Rich Sex” and also announced a new song with Ariana Grande “Bed”.  With the smash hits keep coming, she will have plenty of material to entertain the crowd when the tour kicks off.

Future has recently released his Superfly album on which he both produced and served as soundtrack curator. He will be headlining Billboard’s Hot 100 Fest this August and perform with Rae Sremmurd and DJ Snake at Jones Beach Theatre on 18 and 19 August.
