Justin Bieber has announced his new album, song, tour, as well as a docuseries.

After heavily teasing the announcement on social media, the 25-year-old pop star shared a video on his Instagram to his 123 million followers in which he says:

“As humans, we are imperfect. My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through. I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be, and God has me right where he wants me.”

He also teased a new song called “Yummy”. The single will debut on Friday, January 3rd, 2020.

This marks five years since Bieber last released an album. The last one was his fourth studio album Purpose, which three number one singles: “What Do You Mean?”, “Sorry”, and “Love Yourself”.

“I feel like this is different than the previous albums, just because of where I’m at in my life,” he said.

Bieber will embark on a US tour in support of the new album, between May and September 2020. He revealed 46-city tour dates.

The tour will start in Seattle, Washington, on May 14th and wrap up in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on September 26th.

He said he’s excited to “perform it and tour it,” and added that “it’s the music that I love the most out of anything I’ve done.”

The artist also teased a new docuseries, for which there will be more information revealed soon.

“We all have different stories, I’m just excited to share mine.”

In 2017, Bieber cancelled the reminding dates of his Purpose World tour due to “unforeseen circumstances”. Earlier this year, the singer opened up about how being a young pop star and drug abuse took a toll on him and said that he would be taking a break from music to focus on his mental health. This comeback could mean that he’s feeling better and is ready to get back to it.
