John Legend to Give us ‘Bigger Love’ this Summer

7th February 2020 | Category: Concerts

Grammy-winning singer John Legend has announced a grand 27-city tour across North America taking place later in 2020.

The tour called Bigger Love Tour will start on August 12th in Grand Prairie and carry on through September visiting U.S. places like Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Canadian shows are reserved for Toronto and Vancouver. The new outing comes after 2018’s A Legendary Christmas Tour supporting his first holiday album of the same name.

The last time the singer went on a tour was in 2017, when he embarked on his Darkness and Light Tour, with support from Gallant. Back in 2014, his All Of Me Tour was joined by a guitarist, a string quartet and vocalists in an intimate acoustic setting.

Legend’s newest album is A Legendary Christmas, which was released on October 26th, 2018. The new album landed No. 22 spot on the Billboard 200 and featured guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Esperanza Spalding and Kelly Clarkson.

Legend started off 2020 with great success. He released a new song “Conversations In The Dark,” which hit No. 1 on the overall iTunes songs chart upon its release. It featured on NBC’s Award-winning television show “This Is Us,” which Legend performed on the show. Legend recently won his 11th Grammy Award for “Higher” with DJ Khaled and Nipsey Hussle.

Currently, Legend is a mentor on his third season of NBC’s “The Voice.” He won his first season as a coach with his mentee Maelyn Jarmon.

Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale next Friday (February 14), and after they do, you’ll be able to purchase them here.
