Guns N’ Roses Kick Off their US Tour Early with a Surprise Concert

Guns N’ Roses are continuing their extremely successful Not In This Lifetime Tour that began in early 2016.

The tour brought together the band’s Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagen for their first live shows since 1993, when the three last played together. Former members rejoined the band, but the group also welcomed former drummer Steven Adler to the stage for several shows as a guest spot.

The tour with the classic lineup was 2016’s highest-earning global tour per city on average. The next year the tour ranked as the second highest grossing worldwide tour, and it also won Top Tour at the Billboard Touring Awards. During 2018 alone, it topped $82 million in sales, according to Pollstar.

These legendary rockers have since then performed over 150 shows for more than 4 million excited fans all over the world. The long-awaited reunion tour eventually became the third-highest-grossing concert tour of all time, grossing over $563.3 million.

The new North American run was originally scheduled to start on September 25, 2019 at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center, however Guns N’ Roses have decided to set things in motion sooner than fans might have anticipated.

They have just announced that they’ll start of fthe latest leg of their Not In This Lifetime tour four days earlier in their hometown, Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, September 21. The venue that this last-minute intimate show will take place at holds around 5,000 people, making this one of few smaller scale shows that GNR have held on their reunion tour since 2016.
