Gun N’ Roses, Def Leppard And Lynyrd Skynyrd To Perform At Exit 111 Festival

19th August 2019 | Category: Concerts

Organizers of the inaugural Exit 111 music festival have outlined a full schedule for the upcoming event, taking place October 11th – October 13th at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee.

Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard and Lynyrd Skynyrd will headline this three-day event, named for the Manchester exit on I-24, that mixes hard rock with heavy metal and Southern Rock. All musical performances will split time across three stages, called “Heaven”, “Hell”, and “Rise Above”.

This makes the second announced live date for Guns N’ Roses this fall. The reunited band of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will headline the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky in September. And now, they are set to wrap up Exit 111 on Sunday night.

Megadeth, Black Label Society, ZZ Top, Ghost, Mastodon, Deftones, Coheed and Cambria, Lamb of God and Ministry are also on the bill, along with Kentucky outfit Black Stone Cherry, rising Southern rock group Bishop Gunn and Nashville rebels the Cadillac Three.

There will also be one appearance proud metal-heads ought not to miss. Slayer, who announced their retirement last year, is also slated to perform at what is being referred to as their last-ever Tennessee concert.

The festival will be hosted by hard-rock DJ Eddie Trunk, and it will feature all kinds of additional attractions, such as a car show, motocross demos, a sports bar and the adult circus Paranormal Cirque.
