Pink Floyd drummer and co-founder is kicking off its debut tour and will be accompanied by his new band The Saucerful of Secrets.

Tickets for all 25 performances can be found here.

Nick Mason simply wasn’t ready to retire and felt like they still had something to say so he decided to hit the road once again. He formed a new super group earlier this year called Saucerful of Secrets consisting of former Pink Floyd bassist Guy Pratt, The Blockheads guitarist Lee Harris, Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp, and composer Dom Beken.

The rock outfit hit Europe earlier this year and now they are ready to take over North America with Pink Floyd’s early, pre-Dark Side of the Moon material.

The trek officially kicks off on 12 March in Vancouver British Columbia at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and concludes April 22, 2019 in Washington, DC at DAR Constitution Hall. Los Angeles, Houston, St. Louis, and Chicago are some of the included stops, as are Boston, Montreal, and New York.

Buy your ticket on time and enjoy Pink Floyd’s early classics.

This tour marks Pink Floyd co-founder and drummer Nick Mason’s first performances in North America since Pink Floyd’s July 18, 1994 concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey as part of the Division Bell Tour.

The band will be digging deep into the archives to offer songs not heard live in America for a long time, if ever. Some of the songs they play live include See Emily Play, Arnold Layne, The Nile Song, Bike, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun and Obscured by Clouds, all from the album released in June 1968 called A Saucerful of Secrets, which is the name of the band now.

U.S. and Canadian audiences can expect those and much more. “Frankly, we feel there’s still more to do and can be explored,” Mason said. “The set list that we’ve done in Europe will almost certainly be the basis for what we do, but we certainly intend to add a few more tracks.”

“I really wanted to find something different and a bit quirky,” Mason explained. “I think, for me, what’s most interesting is to revisit the thinking behind some of these pieces.”
