Dua Lipa has teamed up with a number of pop icons for a new remix LP featuring songs from her latest album Future Nostalgia

Lipa recently announced that a re-work of her track “Levitating” will feature Madonna, Missy Elliott and remix by Blessed Madonna. The 61-year-old popstar also confirmed the song will be released on August 14.

“Levitating is coming,’” she wrote. “Dua Lipa, Miss Elliot and Myself.”

She added ‘It’s so [fire],’ with multiple fire emojis.

Lipa also said she will be releasing a remix of her song ‘Physical’ by Mark Ronson featuring Gwen Stefani.

The full remix album, titled Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album, will arrive on August 21 and will feature other impressive names.

Announcing the news, the singer said:

“CLUB FUTURE NOSTALGIA THE REMIX ALBUM W THE BLESSED MADONNA COMING AUGUST 21ST – LEVITATING AUGUST 14TH – FEATURING MISSY ELLIOTT & MADONNA – PHYSICAL FT. GWEN STEFANI REMIXED BY MARK RONSON +++ ALL FUTURE NOSTALGIA TRACKS N THEN SUM REMIXED BY UR FAVES AND MANY MANY MORE SURPRISES!!! C YA SOON”

Released in March, Future Nostalgia dropped at a time when many began staying home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, the singer addressed the difficult decision she faced in releasing the album at that time.

“I guess that was kind of the thing I was maybe the most conflicted about,” she said. “It’s such an upbeat, high-tempo album that you would just want to dance to. I wasn’t sure if it was really the time to put it out — to celebrate, I guess, during a time of so much suffering.”

The album produced five singles, along with title track, which was released as a promotional single. “Don’t Start Now” the album’s lead single, attained both critical and commercial success and became her first top three entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Physical” and “Break My Heart” were released next, and both reached the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart.

To promote the album, Lipa is scheduled to embark on the Future Nostalgia Tour, beginning in January 2021.
