Cincinnati Music Festival, presented by P&G announced, that Maxwell and Mary J. Blige, two soulful singers who have hit this stage before, will return to Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati from 25 to 27 July 2019. The two will be leading a roster of artists including Earth, Wind & Fire, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Blackstreet featuring Teddy Riley & Dave Hollister, The Ohio Players, Major, Tamia and Raheem DeVaughn and the New Edition spin-off RBRM. The first night will kick off with Hip-hop vibe featuring Kid Capri, Slick Rick and EPMD.

This year’s festival took place July 26-28. Its lineup included headliners Jill Scott and Charlie Wilson, along with performances by Common, Xscape, the O’Jays, Cincinnati’s Bootsy Collins and DJ Vader, the Roots, Keith Sweat, Boyz II Men, After 7, DJ Jazzy Jeff and MC Lyte. The 2018 edition attracted nearly 90,000 fans and the 2019 event is expected to draw even more.

The festival began as the Ohio Valley Jazz Festival back in 1962. In 2014, the festival organizer announced that new presenting sponsors would be Procter & Gamble Co that changed the festival’s name in order to reflect the new relationship. In 2016 they added a third night to the event, a format that continued ever since. The festival is held at Paul Brown Stadium for the fourth year as a result of a partnership with the Cincinnati Bengals. The University of Cincinnati Economics Center announced that the music festival provides $107.5 million in economic impact for the region.

The 58-year-long event has been a performance home for legends like Aretha Franklin, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder.

We simply can’t wait to see this year’s performers. Don’t miss out this amazing summer festival and buy your tickets in time.
