Blink 182 and Lil Wayne Announce Co-Headlining Tour

8th May 2019 | Category: Concerts

Legendary pop-punk rockers Blink 182 and the singer, rapper and actor Lil Wayne have announced a joined headlining tour for the summer. The unlikely pair of music acts will hit the road together and perform across North America, with Welsh punk band Neck Deep as openers.

The tour, produced by Live Nation will start on June 28th in Columbus, Ohio and hit an additional 37 dates through September. The tickets are available here.

The artists will play both indoor and outdoor venues, with an itinerary taking them to Tampa, Houston, Los Angeles, Denver, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and Seattle before returning to Cincinnati, Ohio for the final performance at Riverbend Music Center.

In a video announcing the tour, Blink-182 and Lil Wayne deliver an epic mashup of two of their hit tracks “What’s My Name Again?” and “A Milli.” Find the clip above.

Just like the mash-up, the tour will combine the Hip Hop and Rock, something Wayne already dabbled in with musical efforts “Prom Queen” and “Knock Out” with Young Money-signee Nicki Minaj.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday (May 10th) to the general public, while Citi cardmembers will have the presale access starting Tuesday (May 7th).

Based on the mash-up video, fans have already gotten a glimpse of what they can expect from the pair. If you are into this odd style-mix, you should probably hurry up and secure your tickets.
