Beyonce and Jay Z Tour Information Leaked

12th March 2018 | Category: Concerts

The announcement of the Jay Z and Beyonce’s tour called On The Run 2, leaked last week on Ticketmaster and Facebook but were deleted immediately.

It is not confirmed whether this was a marketing trick or a contract obligation but make sure you leave some money aside since sources confirm that the tour is kicking off this summer for sure. For now, you can enjoy the famous couple perform at Coachela this April, and tickets for both weekends can be found here.

Speculations about On the Run 2 had been rampant since 22 February when the news about their stadium tour leaked on Ticketmaster.

The news was removed, the concert promoter did not comment but all fans are gushing about it. The couple last toured in 2014 for On the Run tour and this will be its sequel to that 19 show run. According to sources, they will tour at a number of North American stadiums starting July but both performers and Live Nation keep quiet. But the damage is already done. The tour is being publicized and fans went crazy on social media.

We believe the main reason for this silence is the upcoming Coachella festival from 13 to 22 April where Beyonce will perform. The organizer Goldenvoice has demanded the headline artists to hold off with the tour announcements until after the festival in the past, so we’ll have to be patient. In the meantime, this is a great marketing stunt for the April event since it created a huge buzz.

The lineup for this year’s 19th installment is amazing. Canadian R&B singer Weeknd, pop diva Beyonce and Detriot rapper Eminem will headline the show and Tyler, Cardi B, Haim, David Byrne, Jamiroquai, Chic, Perfect Circle and many more will follow.

Don’t miss this awesome festival and purchase your tickets here.

Jay Z and Beyonce’s 2014 On the Run tour grossed a whopping $95.9 million which is a $5 million per show. If Beyoce announces the tour after the festival, she will have 98 days to promote and sell tickets for the first show in Philadelphia on 30 June. Although this is much shorter period of time than ususal, we believe this will be a piece of cake for the Queen B.

|Editor’s Note: UPDATE – The power couple has since confirmed the speculations for their On the Run II Tour on 13 March. The concert series will kick off on 6 June in Cardiff and visit 15 cities across Europe and 21 cities in North America until it ends with a concert in Vancouver on 2 October.|
