Tool 2023 Tour: North America & Canada
The Los Angeles, California-based maestros of progressive rock and metal, Tool, are once again sweeping the US and Canada with their 2023 tour. Their unique and distinct sound is made possible by the vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor. They have won four Grammy Awards and released five studio albums and numerous other projects that have seen worldwide tours.
If by chance you missed their summer tour that started back in June, we have you covered.
Their 2023 tour continues in October and even November so you can grab tickets right away on our website. They will be hitting major rock festivals like Aftershock and Power Trip but also smaller venues throughout the US.
About the Tour and Fear Inoculum
Among the many great hits from their previous album, the band is touring in support of their first full-fledged release in 13 – Fear Inoculum. Their live shows are not just musical experiences but visuals ones too. Maynard and the gang are known for their extravagant costumes from dystopian soldiers to drag.
Their shows will also have openers from talented established and up-and-coming artists. Tool openers have always included a diverse cast of sounds that while unlike Tool, provide something unique and original to the audience. Maynard personally selects projects that are not similar to Tool for the open-minded audience who want to experience something alternative to the headliner.
As for Fear Inoculum, it is their fifth studio album that, through extensive effort, refined their already established sound. The album achieved the number one position on the US Billboard 200 chart, marking their third album to reach this milestone. It sold more than 270,000 units.
There are seven tracks in total and Maynard explained that the album is about “embracing where we are right now, acknowledging where we’ve come from and some of the things we’ve gone through.”
The tour will showcase songs from Fear Inoculum as well as a compilation of their previous hits. Each concert is meant to represent the journey of Tool as well as an audio-visual experience for the audience.
