Tina Turner kicked-off her first tour in almost a decade in Kansas City on October 1 and is now traveling all around the U.S.<\/a> performing for virtually sold-out crowds.<\/p>\n In an interview with the Associated Press, the immortal Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, now 68, recently explained that this was exactly the right time for her to hit the road again. “I can still do it. I’m still in shape enough physically, mentally and I think this was about the best time to do it”,<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n Last Sunday, the rock icon performed songs such as “Private Dancer”<\/strong>, “What’s Love Got to Do with It”<\/strong> and “We Don’t Need Another Hero”<\/strong> before a packed house in Dallas and according to music critic Mario Tarradell at the Dallas Morning News, she was “fabulous”<\/em>. Tarradell even went so far as writing: “watching Tina Turner perform is akin to witnessing entertainment royalty.”<\/em><\/p>\n
