The 17-date tour also includes a headline show at London\u2019s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith and will finish with a gig at Glasgow\u2019s o2 Academy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speaking about the announcement, the band said:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe\u2019re so excited to come full circle and announce our own headline UK tour.\u00a0 We\u2019ll be hitting the road in October and November \u2013 can\u2019t wait to see you all there.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The news follows a headline appearance at London\u2019s Mighty Hoopla festival and comes ahead of a highly-anticipated appearance at Glastonbury Festival this weekend. The trio are set to play The Avalon Stage on Friday night before headliners Reef, who are replacing The Damned who had to pull out of the festival due to COVID.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tickets for the Sugababes tour go on sale next Friday, July 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Last year, the Sugababes spoke to NME about the prospect of new music.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to Donaghy, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cCOVID threw a spanner in the works. We were recording before the series of lockdowns in the past year, but we\u2019ve got so much material that we need to work through. We probably need to do a little more recording. As soon as we can get back together in the studio, we\u2019re going to work on something fresh.
