It will make stops at venues like the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, and Greek Theatre in Los Angeles before closing out at Austin\u2019s Moody Amphitheater on September 4th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Raise the Roof<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> served as the follow-up to their 2007 blockbuster covers album, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Raising Sand<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and is filled with covers of classic blues, country, folk, and soul music originally sung by the likes of Merle Haggard and The Everly Brothers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When it first came out, Plant said this about the album:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI just hope people hear it. These days you find out that people you know very well have made records that you didn\u2019t know about. The game has changed so much. But,\u201d he concludes more brightly, \u201cI\u2019m sure that if they hear this, they\u2019ll realize that there\u2019s people still alive in it, that we\u2019re still alive inside the vinyl, chirping away like a couple of little bluebirds.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The last time Plant and Krauss toured together was in 2009, following their first collaboration, the Grammy-winning <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Raising Sand<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The very long-awaited follow-up to that album, <em>Raise the Roof,<\/em> also produced by T Bone Burnett, came out in November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The musicians who will take part in the tour have not yet been announced.
