This is the band\u2019s first album in five years, following on from the release of 2016\u2019s \u2018Walls\u2019. They made history by releasing \u201cWhen You See Yourself\u201d in the form of a non-fungible token, becoming the first band to do so. The group made three different types of tokens available: One was a special album package, another offered live show perks, and a third featured exclusive audiovisual art. The band ultimately generated over \u00a31.4million ($2million) in sales. The album was one of the first major records to be released as a collection of NFTs upon its release back in March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It was also the band\u2019s sixth consecutive album to hit Number One on the UK charts, a streak that began with 2007\u2019s \u2018Because Of The Times\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a four-star review, NME said of \u2018When You See Yourself\u2019:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cKings Of Leon spend the whole album toying with what fans might expect \u2013 and clearly have great fun doing so.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIf there was a hump between 2011\u2019s dreary \u2018Come Around Sundown\u2019 and 2016\u2019s poppy \u2018WALLS\u2019, they\u2019re long past it now.
