And I\u2019ve started to feel that I have what it takes to help other people conjure their joy, too.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She added: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI wanted to channel my intensity into something that felt positive and constructive, as opposed to being intense in a destructive or eviscerating way. I love the idea that intensity can actually be something life-saving or something joyous.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of new single \u2018Don\u2019t Go Puttin Wishes in My Head\u2019, she said: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt\u2019s my relentless arena country star moment\u2014my shameless Tim McGraw cheeseball hit.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The musician is set to tour \u2018Thirstier\u2019 around the US in the second half of 2021, with a UK tour following early next year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Torres has been releasing music since 2013 and has four studio albums under her belt already.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her debut self-titled album received favorable reviews from Beats Per Minute, Pitchfork, and Metacritic.
