{"id":31881,"date":"2021-02-25T01:08:14","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T09:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/news\/?p=31881"},"modified":"2021-02-24T05:13:21","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T13:13:21","slug":"aerosmith-uk-and-european-tour-postponed-until-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/news\/concerts\/aerosmith-uk-and-european-tour-postponed-until-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Aerosmith UK and European Tour Postponed Until 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Aerosmith - What Could Have Been Love\" width=\"860\" height=\"484\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d7lCZ0rpH3o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/aerosmith-tickets\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aerosmith<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> have rescheduled their upcoming UK and European tour dates to 2022 due to COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The legendary band had been <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/news\/concerts\/aerosmith-add-new-dates-to-2021-european-tour\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hoping to tour in June of this year<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> after their initial 2020 live plans were scrapped due to the worldwide health crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aerosmith\u2019s forthcoming live dates in the UK and Europe have been pushed back for a second time, with the band now set to complete a series of shows in June and July 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cDue to current conditions and for the safety of our fans, the 2021 European Tour has been rescheduled to 2022,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d the band said in an official statement. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cPlease stay tuned for more information regarding the new dates or contact your point of purchase. All tickets will be valid for new dates.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The rescheduled jaunt includes three UK dates in London, Manchester and Sheffield \u2013 details of which you can see here:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">June 22 \u2013 The O2, London<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">June 28 \u2013 Manchester Arena, Manchester<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">July 1 \u2013 FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The upcoming run follows their &#8216;Deuces Are Wild&#8217; Las Vegas residency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The &#8216;I Don&#8217;t Want to Miss a Thing&#8217; rockers last played this side of the pond in 2017, when they headlined Download Festival, in what was then-assumed to be their last-ever UK show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile, guitarist Joe Perry previously said he&#8217;d like to record a new album with Aerosmith &#8220;when the time is right&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 70-year-old musician said he was feeling inspired to make new music with the group \u2013 also including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/joey-kramer-tickets\">Joey Kramer<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/brad-whitford-tickets\">Brad Whitford<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/tom-hamilton-tickets\">Tom Hamilton<\/a> \u2013 after his time in the studio with his Hollywood Vampires&#8217; bandmates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/alice-cooper-tickets\">Alice Cooper<\/a> and Johnny Depp working on their 2019 LP &#8216;Rise&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He said at the time: &#8220;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I had just finished working on my last solo album [before the new Hollywood Vampires album], so I had been in the studio for the three or four months before we started on the Vampires record.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;So I was already rolling in the studio. It doesn&#8217;t take much to get me going &#8212; I love to record.
