{"id":31494,"date":"2020-01-09T04:13:14","date_gmt":"2020-01-09T12:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/news\/?p=31494"},"modified":"2020-01-09T04:13:14","modified_gmt":"2020-01-09T12:13:14","slug":"rod-stewart-announces-north-american-tour-with-cheap-stick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/news\/concerts\/rod-stewart-announces-north-american-tour-with-cheap-stick\/","title":{"rendered":"Rod Stewart Announces North American Tour with Cheap Stick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rod Stewart - Maggie May (with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) Official Video\" width=\"860\" height=\"484\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l4kqsI-_73Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Legendary singer-songwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/rod-stewart-tickets\">Rod Stewart<\/a> has announced a summer 2020 tour across North America in support of his latest album <em>Blood Red Roses<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>On the upcoming tour, American rockers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/cheap-trick-tickets\">Cheap Trick<\/a> will be joining him as special guests.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-city excursion begins on July 21<sup>st<\/sup> in Cuyahoga Falls and continues all the way to September, with notable stops being Toronto, Saratoga Springs, Atlantic City, Columbia, Nashville, Tampa and Cincinnati.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the tour, Stewart will be hosting another extensive Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace&#8217;s Colosseum.<\/p>\n<p>The Blood Red Roses is Stewart\u2019s 30th studio album, which was released on September 28th, 2018 via Decca Records and Republic Records. The same year, he launched another major co-headlining tour with Cyndi Lauper across North America for the second consecutive year.<\/p>\n<p>He has also collaborated with Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler and they\u2019ve sung together <em>&#8220;Battle of the Sexes,&#8221;<\/em> the track from her 2019 studio album, <em>Between the Earth and the Stars.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Back in 2005, he won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for 2004&#8217;s &#8216;Stardust \u2026 The Great American Songbook Volume III&#8217; and is considered one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>More recently Stewart released an orchestral album \u201cYou\u2019re in My Heart\u201d with some of his older songs, as well as the new song &#8220;Stop Loving Her Today&#8221;.
