Their first performance will be in May at Hangout Music Festival in Alabama and the tour officially starts on 5 June in Toronto. in May at Hangout Music Festival in Alabama<\/p>\n<p>Soccer Mommy, Ang\u00e9liqueKidjo, Chicano Batman, Christone Ingram, Despot, Richard Pictures and Tinariwen will join them on select dates. Los Angeles natives Chicano Batman are tapped for support on all the June dates, guitarist Christone &#8220;Kingfish&#8221; Ingram will open for the band from 16 August to 8 September, and singer\/songwriter Soccer Mommy joins Vampire Weekend on their final dates from 25 September through 8 October.<\/p>\n<p>Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo and Despot will open the Madison Square Garden show on 6 September and Tinariwen and Richard Pictures will join as support for the Hollywood Bowl show on 2 October. Songs \u201cHarmony Hall\u201d and \u201c2021\u201d are already out and drawing a lot of attention and the band plans to drop two new songs every month leading up to the album. This album is different from the previous ones according to the lead singer Koenig.<\/p>\n<p>The record features an array of collaborators, including RostamBatmanglij, marking the first time the band has included guest vocalists in an album. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Ezra Koenig said, <em>&#8220;We\u2019ve had three albums of the same voice over and over again.
