The play is directed by Tony Award winner for \u201cWho\u2019s afraid of Virginia Woolf?\u201d Pam MacKinnon. The play commissioned and developed by The Flea Theater in New York City, and was originally produced by South Coast Repertory. The previews begin on November 7 and the opening night is scheduled for November 30.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/the-parisian-woman-tickets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tickets for all venues are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Uma Thurman, A-list movie star, plays Chloe, a socialite armed with charm and wit, who comes to terms with politics, her past, her marriage and an uncertain future in Washington D.C. where powerful friends are the only kind worth having, especially after the 2016 election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s contemporary, it\u2019s sharp, it\u2019s witty and it\u2019s a grown-up piece of material,\u201d Ms. Thurman said in an interview about her act about a woman who is asking her lover to help her husband get a high-level government position. \u201cI think it moves beautifully, and I felt like it was a good part for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Thurman said she had been looking for years for an opportunity to return to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketcenter.com\/theatre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theater <\/a>stage since her 1999 Off Broadway appearance in an adaptation of Moliere\u2019s \u201cThe Misanthrope\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve given my whole life to performance; many of the pieces I\u2019ve done have been very dramatic and rehearsed,\u201d Ms. Thurman said. \u201cThat\u2019s the part I\u2019ve enjoyed the most \u2014 the exploration of language, the theatricality \u2014 and I\u2019m looking forward to something of real depth and complexity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Besides Uma Thurman, many great names will be seen here. ParTony nominee Phillipa Soo and Marton Csokas have joined the starry lineup.
