Dead Weather “Sea of Cowards” Tour Dates Announced

This amazing quartet Dead Weather formed about a year ago and their second album is close to being released while their summer will be filled with a headline tour.

The group at this time has planned sixteen concerts for Canada and the United States. The first stop will be in Manchester, Tennessee on June 12 at Bonnaroo with the rest of the concerts at this time starting a stretch from July to the beginning of August.

Tickets went on sale on May 7 and this weekend at most ticket outlets. The majority of ticket prices are seen between $25 and $40 according to the venue.

The first concert as mentioned above is on June 12 with a long break until July 13 for the second concert at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC and the last performance on August 3 in Brooklyn, New York at Prospect Park.

The band includes Jack White, Alison Mosshart as lead vocalist, Dean Fertita as multi-instrumentalist, and Jack Lawrence as bassist. The band is close to releasing their second album in just under one year. The album, Sea of Cowards, is to be released on May 11 in the United States following the first album Horehound.

Dead Weather fulfilled a full-length tour in the summer of 2009 with over twenty concerts across North America and a few scattered dates overseas. They just finished a short spring tour of the South and West Coast of the US.

July 29 at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI 
July 30 at the Congress Theatre in Chicago, IL 
July 31 at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI
