The history of Super Bowl can be traced back for a couple decades. The first Super Bowl game was actually held 39 years ago during the early part of 1967. Three years after in 1970, these two giants decided to merge, giving birth to the official Super Bowl which is now titled as the official championship game for the NFL. Moreover, the merger of NFL and AFL has turned Super Bowl into a conference wherein the games were played by the conference champions.
