Harper Lee’s famous classic American story of justice as well as courage is coming to the Syracuse stage.  We all remember that great book that we read in school To Kill a Mocking Bird.  About a black man named Tom Robinson, who lived in a small Alabama town who stands falsely accused of raping a white woman, now comes to life on the stage.   Many of the local town’s people would like to see him condemned for this crime, but Atticus Finch an attorney stands up in order to defend Tom Robinson and he demands justice to be done.  Throughout the whole trial Atticus Finch’s children Jem and Scott as well as their good friend Dill come face to face as they have to deal with the reality of racism within their own small town.  As we all remember that Dr. Martin Luther King reminds us all that an Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.  This is the inspirational truth that underlies within this remarkable story of To Kill a Mocking Bird.
