Syracuse vs. North Carolina Making it Big

The Syracuse Orangemen Basketball Team dropped their 3rd straight game with an overtime loss to Clemson.
The last game the Syracuse University Basketball Team played against Clemson in an overtime game on Tuesday night January 5th 74-73.  Clemson exploited Syracuse’s 2-3 zone in order to find open areas inside.  Do not draw any conclusions about Mike Hopkins’ record of 4-5 with the Syracuse basketball team just yet.   The plan was to foul Clemson.
The Syracuse Orangeman basketball team had the chance for a comeback win within their grasp, but just could not hold on to it in regulation. Even when Syracuse had the chance at an even more improbable win in overtime, they just could not get the shot that they needed.
The Syracuse Basket Ball team has fallen to 10-6 on the season and 0-3 in the ACC.  The last time the Syracuse Orangemen Basketball team had started a conference with three straight losses was in the season of 1996-1997.  The Orangemen played in the Big East and lost their first four conference games that season.
Syracuse coach designate Mike Hopkins spoke about how thankful he was for the ultimate chance at being able to fill in for the suspended head coach Jim Boeheim during the post game conference after the game.
Jim Boehiem himself will be returning to the sidelines for this Saturday’s game against North Carolina, as he is coming back from his NCAA suspension.
The game the Orange played against Clemson was the last in line with Jim Boeheim’s nine game suspensions.  The NCAA ultimately suspended Boehiem for nine straight games as part of its sanctions for the rules violations within the SU basketball program.  The NCAA’s first decision was to suspend Jim for the first nine ACC games, upon appeal this ruling was changed so that Boehiem would start his suspension immediately.
Now, that Boehiem is back, find out if the Syracuse Orangemen’s luck will change against North Carolina.
