Thom Yorke Unveils Rescheduled North American Dates

17th April 2020 | Category: Concerts

Thom Yorke has announced rescheduled dates for the North American leg of his Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour.

The Radiohead frontman was supposed to be touring the US this past March in support of his new album Man Alive. However, coronavirus and concerns around the spread of it have put a stop to it. The tour had to be moved to Autumn.

The new dates kick off on September 28 in Washington, D.C., and extend through October.

The official statement from him said:

“Most venues will remain the same and original tickets are valid, with the following exceptions:

The show in Fairfax VA has moved to Washington DC.

The Chicago show has relocated to a new venue.

The show at St. Paul MN is sadly cancelled – contact your point of purchase for refund information.”

As for the Chicago show, it has been moved to Auditorium Theatre; meanwhile, St. Paul, Minnesota, has been dropped completely.

The information about Mexico shows, originally scheduled for April 22-25, has been provided, too.

“Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, despite best efforts, it has not been possible to reschedule the Mexico leg of the Thom Yorke Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes tour. Apologies, no option remains but to cancel all three dates: please contact your ticket vendor for further information.”

The tour will also head to the UK and Europe this summer. It visits the following cities: Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam, Milan, Prague, and Berlin.

The European leg will see Yorke performing material from the ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes’ record and his latest album ‘Anima‘, as well as music from his solo back catalog, accompanied by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri.
