The Black Keys All Ready For American Leg Of ‘Turn Blue World Tour’
American rock duo The Black Keys have just played at the Glastonbury Pop Festival in England, in what was described by one national newspaper as a “simple yet dazzling” performance. Well all you rock fans out there will not have long to wait until The Black Keys are back touring as they hit the road at the beginning of September with the North American leg of their ‘Turn Blue World Tour’, and cheap and discounted concert tickets for all of The Black Keys upcoming concerts can be purchased today from Ticket Center.
Friday 5th September sees the Turn Blue World Tour get underway at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, followed by another gig in the state of Ohio the very next day, with this particular concert taking place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. From Ohio The Black Keys will then head to the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan again, Pennsylvania and New York for a further six concerts in just eight days, all of which are being played in some big named arenas so there should be plenty of room for everyone who wants to attend to do so.
From New York The Black Keys will then head to Canada for three concerts in three days, the first of which will take place on Tuesday 16th September at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. From Toronto the band will head to Ottawa for a performance at the Canadian Tire Centre on Wednesday 17th, with a visit to Montreal scheduled for Thursday 18th September and a concert at the well known venue of Centre Bell. The Centre Bell will also be welcoming the likes of Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, The Killers, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake in the coming weeks and months, as well as a host of other star names too. On their return from Canada The Black Keys will perform another seven concerts in September with visits to Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York (twice) and Washington DC, with two concerts scheduled for the United Center in Chicago, Illinois bringing the September calendar of events to a close.
After a short break The Black Keys will be on the road again with a concert scheduled for Friday 24th October at the Target Center in Minnesota, with a return to Canada on the cards and a further four concerts in the space of six days. Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton will stage the first three Canadian concerts, with the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver staging the fourth on Thursday 30th October.
The month of October will come to a close with a concert at the Moda Center in Portland, with November getting underway with a concert in Seattle at the Key Arena. In the two months leading up to Christmas The Black Keys will be playing nine more concerts in November and 14 in December, with notable trips to Texas, North Carolina and California amongst the states being visited.
