These two 80s veterans are still going strong with Adams releasing Shine a Light, his 14th studio album, that features a duet with Jennifer Lopez called “That’s How Strong Our Love Is”. This is his first record since 2015’s Get Up. He also penned the score to a musical adaptation of the 1990 movie Pretty Woman that opened on Broadway in March.

Meanwhile, Idol released Vital Idol: Revitalized last year, containing remixes of most of the tracks found on the 1985 album, which itself was a collection of remixes of songs from his first two solo records.

Both performers will be touring the whole summer. Adams will start his solo jaunt on May 4th in Charlotte, North Carolina, head out to Europe, Canada, US and wrap up with another round of shows in Europe in December.

Idol’s solo itinerary starts at Ribfest in Naperville, Illinois on July 3rd, and after the co-headlining resumes on August 30th in Puyallup, Washington.
