Rap legend Snoop Dogg has announced new U.S. and European stops as part of his I Wanna Thank Me Tour.

The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper is celebrating nearly three decades in the music industry since being discovered by Dr. Dre in 1992. Since then he’s released 21 songs that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and landed three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

Last year the rapper received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in his acceptance speech, he thanked himself for his success.

First mentioning “I Wanna Thank Me” in this ceremony, the phrase stuck when he named his newest album like that. The newly released 17th album and documentary of the same name honours his career spanning over 25 years.

The upcoming tour in support of this will feature a long list of his longtime collaborators. This includes hip hop friends that have collaborated with him throughout the years such as Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice and D12. The multi-million streamed Irish rap duo Versatile will be playing the opening sets.

The West Coast rap icon which recently celebrated his 48th birthday is rumoured to appear in the newest season of Peaky Blinders. After he recently covered Nick Cave’s ‘Red Right Hand’ which is a long-running theme tune of the cult drama, Steven Knight, mentioned him as one of the many celebrities interested in a cameo which they will consider further.

Snoop Dogg’s I Wanna Thank Me tour kicks off on Dec. 2 with a previously announced sold-out show at the Fillmore in San Francisco. New dates starting from January 17 concert include shows in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Kentucky and Mississippi.
