Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour of North America for Summer of 2015

19th June 2015 | Category: Concerts

In March of this year, the Rolling Stones made an announcement that they will do another extensive tour after 14 On Fire European Tour was a success. This extensive tour being called Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour of North America, will be bringing the group to locations that are across Canada and United States. Destinations they are focused on are large stadiums. With being famous for extensive use of space on stage and large productions, this would partly explain the large stadiums.
The Rolling Stones are a rock and roll band that has been on top since they started in early 1960’s. Mick Jagger and childhood friend Keith Richards got together and created a band, which still packs stadiums for more than five decades. In 1962 London, the Rolling Stones gave their debut performance at a place named the Marquee Club, which has featured covers from several of their heroes from childhood, including Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry. One of their early covers, became the group’s first single that was major, with the title “Come one.” With much success from their early covers, along with the position they held of being an alternative to the Beetles and grungier, they were able to get through the beginning couple of decades. The international charts were finally made by the Rolling Stones, with their release of the song “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” That song helped bring their album Out of Our Heads to highs they did not experience before. This following two decades, everything touched by the band was successful. Some iconic albums from the group include Sticky Fingers, Beggars Banquet, Undercover, and Black and Blue. They are legends of Rock and Roll all across the world. Venues have been sold out for decades, and continue to do so.
Some of the cities for the Zip Code Tour include Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Indianapolis, Quebec City, and more for the months of June and July.
Touring for more than 50 years, fans all over the continent remain excited about seeing them live.
